The rapid expansion of the pharmaceutical industry scale, mergers and reorganization will be high

With the implementation of the new version of GMP, the industry has put forward new requirements for the hardware equipment of pharmaceutical companies, and has achieved the growth of a number of pharmaceutical equipment companies, and has also made an opportunity for the upgrading of pharmaceutical packaging materials industry.
In recent years, the pharmaceutical industry has fully realized the importance of good packaging design, because it faces constant pressure in helping patients comply with drug regulations, meet regulatory requirements, increase brand life and attractiveness. At the same time, pharmaceutical companies must innovate and increase efficiency in response to the growing threat of counterfeit drugs.
Therefore, the demand for pharmaceutical packaging market by pharmaceutical companies will also increase day by day. At the same time, with the continuous improvement of the living standards and health concepts of Chinese residents, coupled with the government’s increasing investment in health care, in the future, China’s pharmaceutical packaging market will usher in a rapid growth.
Analysts pointed out that in the future, the merger and reorganization of China's pharmaceutical packaging industry will enter a high-end stage. In January 2013, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Accelerating the Merger and Reorganization of Key Industries, and the Opinions clearly defined the objectives and tasks of the merger and reorganization of the pharmaceutical industry.
By 2015, the sales revenue of the top 100 companies will account for more than 50% of the total sales of the industry, and the top 20 companies in the sales of essential drugs will account for 80% of the market share. This will enable the scale and intensification of basic drug production. Encourage upstream and downstream integration between R&D and production, raw material drugs and preparations, Chinese herbal medicines and Chinese patent medicine companies, improve the industrial chain, and increase the efficiency of resource allocation.
At present, China's pharmaceutical packaging companies are mostly small and medium-sized enterprises. With the acceleration of mergers and reorganizations in the pharmaceutical industry, higher production capacity and product quality will be required for upstream pharmaceutical packaging companies. Changes in the external market demand will prompt our country. Pharmaceutical packaging develops in the direction of scale, and mergers and reorganizations are undoubtedly one of the quicker ways to achieve scale.
